Beta 2 up
After some revisions, the 2nd Beta is up for the first 2 mods. No need to play through them again unless you want to, I put them up in case others tried them out (act 2 had a fatal flaw in it that prevented completion!).

I've also fixed the mod-o-meter laughing

Act 3 has had plenty of bugs and other stuff to fix up as I play through it, but it's definitely coming along nicely.

Act 2 beta up
So I've decided to put each mod up separately as I finish them in beta form, as I tend to get really good feedback (and fix a lot of bugs that I missed!) The Act 2 v2.0 beta test is now up under the act 2 heading for those so inclined. Remember to use the fake EMS hak or the horses won't work.

Oh, and happy new year!

P.S. The link to the Ship Interior tileset is incorrect, and I can't seem to change the link, so check the comments section here to get the right link.

Act 2 beta almost ready
Ran through the whole thing again over the weekend, and fixed a age full of bugs and such. If anyone ever tried to recharge a magic item at Auberon's shop, they'd have been disappointed (and ripped off, as it still took your money). I've fixed the scripts for that, so now you can indeed recharge magic items. I'll be porting this ability over into subsequent acts as well smile

Seasons greetings!
Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year. I'll be away for a few days over christmas visiting the family and such, but I suspect I'll find a bit of time to continue writing on the novel. I've actually managed to do a couple of hours over the weekend too, so it's moving, albeit slowly.

As for Aielund Saga: The Computer Game, I still await arQon's updated EMS hakpack before I can release... however, since act 1 is complete, I was thinking of putting it up on this site so you can grab it as my gift to you laughing

So, under the Act 1 heading you'll find the 2.0 Beta and the Aielund Hakpack v2.0. I suggest you switch out the EMS pack with the fake version to make sure the horses work, and away you go! (You'll need CEP 2.1 remember).

An appropriate change
Something I also have the opportunity to fix in the saga is the name of a mercenary company that you hire in Fall Pt.2, the Blackwater Raiders. At the time of making the mod, I hadn't even heard of that infamous name except from an old gold box D&D game, a place called "Blackwater glade" (the game was Dark Queen of Krynn). That's where I got the name from, but clearly this was an astonishingly bad coincidence, and more than one person has remarked that the name is in bad taste. So, it's changing. smile
